Testimonials

“Hi there – thanks again for everything Lee. We will be forever grateful to Lee and all her staff for the outstanding care our Mom received while residing at Green Meadows. With my brother, sister and I living very far from Nova Scotia, it gave us such peace of mind to know she would be so well taken care of. I will always remember when my sister and I did a visit to the home, one of the residents came over to me and said, “You know the thing I like best about this place? They don’t have signs all over telling you what to do and what not to do.” You know, he was right. It is far from an institution – it is definitely more like a home. My Mom was able to bring her furniture and photos for her private room to make the transition easier and she never once said that she didn’t want to be there. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and efficient and the home spotless. I could go on and on – the puppies that came to visit, the beautiful summer flowers, the entertainment – We always chuckle when friends visited Mom, they always would say that if they need to go into a nursing home, this is the place they want. Again – a huge thank you for taking such good care of Mom.”

“You will never know the peace of mind we had because we knew that mom was with people who cared about her and treated her as ‘family’. In fact, you were part of her – and our – family. Even in death, you gave her such respect and dignity. We will never forget.”

“Green Meadows Community Residence for Seniors, North Grant and all the staff, past and present. Dad felt he was part of your family especially when the children brought the puppies to his room and drew pictures for him. You know he was at home watching the cattle, sheep and horses grazing and haying time. He loved your flower garden display, home cooking and especially the sweet treats.”

“What I admire most about the efforts at Green Meadows is their staffing ability. Without fail they hire women who are gentle and caring, and then provide the staff with a work atmosphere that allows them to care for the residents in a warm, positive, and professional manner while always respecting their dignity.”

“Green Meadows is an excellent residence for adults needing health-assistance in their lives. It is staffed by very professional care-givers that always have the residents’ best interests in all that they do. Their staff become extended family to the residents as soon as they arive and provide a very home-like, clean and professionally run environment for every resident. Without hesitation I would recommend Green Meadows for anyone considering assisted living”
